Product Description

The SK 1100 S Wet Blasting Machine automatically discharges the 100-liter consumable-and-water mixture inside the machine at the push of a button at consumable-change time, via the Automatic Discharge System controlled from the PLC screen.

With its single right-side door design, the machine allows parts to be loaded easily by the operator or with loading equipment such as an overhead crane; parts up to 250 kg can be processed when loaded by ceiling crane. During processing, the part is moved comfortably on a stainless steel rotating table. As standard, it ships with an 8 mm boron carbide nozzle and an aluminum blasting gun with a 4.2 mm injector (SM 1708); these guns consume 1.2 m³ of air per minute. The filtration unit is powered by a 1.1 kWh fan motor. A nozzle hanging apparatus enables two-hand operation, and a Safety/Security Package is provided as standard. The SK 1100 S model can successfully spray consumables with particle sizes up to 200 microns; larger particle sizes require a machine revision. The SK 1100 S is the top model in the wet blasting machine range; features that are optional on other models — such as automatic washing/discharge and water heating — are included as standard on this model.
