Overview
Burrs left on parts after manufacturing processes such as casting, forging and injection molding can be precisely removed by blasting. Steel/stainless steel grit is preferred for metal parts, while low-density, residue-free media such as plastic abrasives are used for precision components like electronics (semiconductors, PCBs, LED frames). Special low-temperature plastic abrasive variants, known as "cryogenic deburring," are also available.
