Product Description
The SKBRV-5 is used to blast equipment that, due to its size, cannot be blasted inside a blasting machine or booth, or that cannot be transported to a blasting facility — right where it stands, without disassembly. In this dust-free, vacuum-operated system, the sprayed consumable is simultaneously recovered by the vacuum unit, preventing dust and consumable from spreading inside the facility.
In use, the machine is shipped fully assembled; after the appropriate consumable is loaded, one operator starts the process with a foot pedal while a second operator manually adjusts the media control valve to regulate the consumable flow rate. The SKBRV-5 is an industrial-scale system with a 1 ton/hour consumable spraying capacity, a 20-liter pressure tank, a 10-meter blasting hose, a 72 dB(A) noise level, measuring 1850 x 55 x 2020 mm and weighing 420 kg. It ships as standard with 6 mm boron carbide nozzles and can run steel grit (GL 40, 0.30-0.80 mm); with the optional vacuum unit upgraded to 7.5 kW, it can also be configured to spray S230 consumable (0.6-0.9 mm).
