SK 2600 B Pressure Blasting Machine

A side-loading, pressure-system blasting machine that can blast heavy, large parts thanks to its overhead-crane-loaded automatic sliding table cart.

  • Pressure system — faster operation compared to vacuum systems
  • Automatic sliding table cart — loaded by overhead crane, moves in/out of the cabin automatically under operator control
  • Heavy, large part capacity, blasting from multiple access points
  • Jet-Pulse filtration system for dust-free operation
  • Ergonomic use with PLC/HMI screen and movable operator panel system

Application Areas

  • Surface Preparation Before Rubber Coating
  • Teflon Coating Removal
  • Enamel Removal
  • Wheel Rim Cleaning

Product Description

The SK 2600 B Pressure Blasting Machine sprays a blasting consumable mixture from a pressure tank, generating more power than vacuum/injection systems. The spraying, filtration and main cabin system is CE certified.

The machine is built with loading access from the right-hand side. Heavy and large parts are loaded onto the machine's automatic loading cart (sliding table unit) using an overhead crane or by hand; the table is then driven automatically into the machine cabin under operator control, and the manual door is closed to begin blasting.

Parts placed inside the cabin are blasted manually by the operator using gloves; fully automatic custom-design solutions can also be engineered for standard parts. During blasting, activated by a foot pedal, the sprayed consumable is first drawn into the cyclone system by the filter unit's power to separate the dust, then collects in the pressure tank unit; releasing the pedal ends the process and the tank opens automatically to reload the consumable for reuse. The Jet-Pulse filter system ensures dust-free operation.

For processes requiring high surface roughness or high blasting power (before rubber coating, teflon coating removal, enamel removal, wheel rim cleaning, etc.), it aims to meet the industry's need for a large-scale pressure blasting machine with a compact design.

Cabin dimensions, table capacity, nozzle configuration and filtration capacity are all re-engineered based on the customer's part; this page is shared to demonstrate the engineering approach we can offer for a similar requirement.

Operation

  1. Parts suitable for handling by overhead crane or by staff are placed onto the automatic loading cart with the door open.
  2. After loading, the table unit is driven automatically into the cabin under operator control.
  3. Parts placed inside the cabin are blasted manually by the operator using gloves (fully automatic solutions can also be engineered for standard parts).
  4. After blasting, the table is automatically driven back out; the part is removed from the table by overhead crane or by hand.

ℹ️ The SK 2600 B is engineered per customer; cabin dimensions, table carrying capacity, nozzle configuration and filtration capacity are redetermined for your part in each project. Contact us to work out the right configuration for your part.

Compatible Consumables

Aluminum Oxide • Glass Bead • Silicon Carbide • Garnet • Steel Shot/Grit • Stainless Steel Shot/Grit

Consumables with a specific gravity of up to 7 g/cm³ can be used. Consumables with a very high specific gravity (steel shot/grit, stainless steel shot/grit, etc.) can be sprayed with a grain size of up to 1 mm; for larger sizes, a nozzle diameter of 8 mm or above must be used. Consumables can be optionally supplied by SAYKAR upon request.
