Product Description
The SK 2500 VALS is designed to automatically surface-treat the outer diameters of cylindrical shafts or mill rolls. While the cylindrical parts are automatically rotated around their own axis in a horizontal position, blasting is performed automatically with a nozzle mounted on a linear axis.
In automatic blasting mode, blasting time, stroke length and linear-axis speed can be entered and recalled as a recipe from the touchscreen. The machine consists of an automatic part-turning unit, filtration unit, linear-axis motion unit and spraying system; using the stand unit, the mill roll can be driven in and out of the machine with a transport cart.
The blasting system is pressure-based; it is equipped with a pressure tank and an integrated cyclone system — the sprayed consumable is collected by a screw conveyor under the machine, passed through the cyclone to separate it from dust, and automatically reloaded into the blasting tank. The filtration unit has a cartridge filter and self-cleans via the Jet-Pulse system.
