The SK 2018 B produces 3 times more power than vacuum/injection systems by spraying a blasting consumable mix — with a specific gravity of up to 8 gr/cm³ — onto the surface from a pressure tank together with compressed air. With its compact design, it takes up little space while aiming to meet the industry's demand for pressure blasting machines (pre-rubber-lining, Teflon/enamel stripping, rim cleaning, etc.).

The machine can be manufactured in a right- or left-hand configuration. Parts are placed onto the automatic rotary table by personnel using an overhead crane or by hand, opening the guillotine cover. Blasting is performed manually by personnel wearing gloves; operation works on a closed pressure-vessel principle — during the blasting time, activated by a foot pedal, the sprayed consumable is first drawn into the cyclone system by the filter unit's power and separated from dust, then collects on the pressure tank; when the foot is lifted from the pedal, the process ends and the tank opens automatically to reload the consumable for reuse.

The 1500 mm diameter, 8 mm thick rotary table with 1000 kg load capacity is supported by 10 balance wheels for even load distribution; it can be operated in automatic mode at a fixed rpm via the touchscreen, or in either direction using the foot pedals. The automatic door system, 1564 mm wide, operates on the vertical axis via pneumatic pistons with a 700 mm opening over the rotary table, and is controlled from the operator panel.
