Product Description

The SK 1480 B OTM DT is a pressure blasting system that continuously sprays consumable material with a specific gravity of up to 8 gr/cm³ from a pressurized tank, producing 3-4 times more power than vacuum/injection systems. It operates on the closed pressure vessel principle: during blasting, activated by a foot pedal, the sprayed consumable is first drawn into the cyclone system by the filter unit's power to separate it from dust, then accumulates in the pressure vessel unit; when the pedal is released, the vessel opens automatically and consumable begins loading for reuse.

Heavy parts are placed with an overhead crane, chain hoist/forklift, or by personnel onto the automatic rotary table, Ø990 mm diameter, 8 mm thick and with a 1000 kg carrying capacity (with 6 support balance wheels); the guillotine cover opens and the table is automatically driven into the machine. The automatic door is 1420 mm wide, operating with a 500 mm opening over the rotary table via pneumatic pistons in the vertical axis and is controlled from the operator panel. The blasting cabin accommodates workpieces up to a maximum of 1100x1100x500 mm; the bench is protected against wear with 2-5 mm rubber sheeting, illuminated with IP66 floodlights, and fitted with an in-cabin air gun for operator cleaning. Side-door loading access and a nozzle hanger apparatus enabling two-hand operation are standard. The filtration unit has a 7.5 kWh/3000 rpm motor with a 1-micron pored cartridge; the system filters ambient dust while transferring consumable passed through the cyclone to storage, operating below 75 dBA once duct-connected. The machine is shipped with standard 6 mm boron carbide nozzles (6B-50); custom boron carbide nozzles are also available on request for an additional charge. It operates with pressure hoses and hose adapters. The machine can be manufactured in right- or left-hand configuration; it is CE certified and supplied with a Dust Dispersion Test Report, with 1-day installation and optional user/maintenance training.
