Blasting Rooms
Turnkey blasting room solutions integrated into an existing space or a container, enabling on-site blasting of large or hard-to-transport parts. Unlike Blasting Machines (single-unit/injection cabins), Blasting Rooms are custom-sized to the part dimensions and are typically built with a rail-mounted transport cart, a large filtration unit, and a separation of in-room/out-of-room equipment.
- In-house blasting room — project-specific conversion sized for the customer's own facility
- Container-type standard product SKO-6000 — turnkey solution requiring no separate construction
- A durable, long-lasting interior that keeps operator health and visibility in mind, with good filtration
- Manual, semi-automatic or fully automatic consumable recycling options
Product Description
In-House Blasting Room: An enclosed space within the customer's own facility is converted into a blasting room — room dimensions and ceiling height are entirely project-dependent. The room's shell/wall work is carried out by the customer or a third-party construction firm, while the conversion into a blasting room (flooring, wall lining, lighting, filtration, electrical/pneumatic installation) is carried out by SAYKAR. This type is custom-sized per project — it is not a cataloged standard product.
Container-Type Blasting Room — Standard Product (SKO-6000): A modular system approximately 8.6 m in length, built from a standard freight container, combining a machine compartment and a blasting room compartment in a single body. See the SKO-6000 product page for details. Smaller-scale container projects can be positioned as a project-specific/economical alternative alongside the SKO-6000.
Standard Components: The flooring is built with a durable, non-slip structure. Walls subject to active blasting are covered with a long-lasting, wear-resistant lining. Health-conscious lighting that preserves visibility is used so operators can work comfortably and safely. Ventilation and filtration are designed to keep dust to a minimum inside the room; the filtration unit's capacity is sized according to room volume. Large rooms may use an automatic fast-opening door.
Part Transport System: A rail-mounted transport cart with a fixed capacity is installed inside the room; the cart width, load capacity and rail length are determined per project.
Recycling System: Three levels are offered: Manual (operator sweeps and carries), Semi-Automatic (automatic reloading), or Fully Automatic (with no manual sweeping required at all).
Blasting Pot: A pressurized blasting pot positioned outside the room, along with the required hose and nozzle equipment, is selected per project and included as standard.
Blasting rooms are designed to support a range of consumable types, and the necessary personal protective equipment is delivered with the system for the operator. They are built for a long service life with low maintenance needs.
Note: Each blasting room project is custom-sized to the part and space requirements.
