SK 8600 E Conveyorized Automatic Blasting Machine

Product Description

The SK 8600 E is a conveyorized automatic blasting machine manufactured for surface roughening — using consumables such as aluminum oxide — before resin or rubber coating, or for stripping and recoating worn coatings, on rectangular-shaped large steel molds used in ceramic mold production or the mold shops of ceramic manufacturing plants. It is installed as a single line together with the conveyor entry unit, filtration unit, cyclone and sand hopper.

Molds are loaded from the top with an overhead crane onto the machine's entry conveyor; the appropriate recipe is selected on the touchscreen, the mold is driven into the machine and blasting starts automatically once it reaches the blasting point. In automatic use, linear axis modules give the nozzles fast movement; the conveyor operates with rubber-lined rollers. The manipulator on the automatic axes uses multiple nozzles with manually adjustable wrist and head angles.

Once the part's stock code and batch/serial number information are entered on the touchscreen, data such as manipulator speed, rotary table speed, rotation direction and blasting time can be obtained as reports. Filtration is provided by a cartridge unit; the sand hopper and cyclone unit support multi-nozzle operation. The machine body is electrostatically painted; the blasting cabin is rubber-lined against wear.
