The SK 2004 is a fully automatic wet blasting machine developed for the pre-coating surface preparation or post-coating surface finishing of circular or cylindrical parts (barrels, cutting tools, etc.) that can rotate about their own axis, aiming to standardize and automate process parameters. It works with parts up to 800 mm in barrel length and with consumables of specific gravity below 4 gr/cm³ in the 0-150 micron range (glass bead, aluminum oxide, etc.). All water-wetted surfaces of the machine body are made of 316L stainless steel, other parts of DKP/HRP sheet; the blasting cabin is protected against wear with 3-5 mm rubber sheeting.

It offers 3-axis fully automatic function with an automatic rotary table, part-turning unit and vertical linear axis; nozzle-to-part distance is manually adjustable. The spray system includes one diaphragm pump per nozzle, an integrated blasting tank with approximately 80-liter capacity (filled with 50 kg of Al. oxide) and a mixer unit for homogeneous mixing. Nozzles are made of boron carbide with a 10 mm bore, straight-outlet, designed to spray from a distance of 100-150 mm; working pressure is in the 0-10 bar range. The consumable concentration is 25% sand + 75% water. At the end of the process, parts are automatically washed with fresh water at the washing station on the rotary table; the used sand-water mixture is discharged into the automatic settling tank.
