Product Description
The Resistance-Heated Welding Flux Delivery Tank is used in SAW (submerged arc welding) processes to deliver welding flux to the weld zone without interruption via a pressurized pneumatic system, while resistance heaters integrated into the tank body prevent the flux from being affected by ambient humidity. The heating elements in the tank body operate at a continuous, stable temperature through PID-controlled regulation and thermocouple feedback, preventing the hygroscopic flux from picking up moisture and thereby avoiding hydrogen-induced weld defects such as porosity and cracking.
Designed to comply with pressure-vessel standards, the tank is equipped with a safety valve and pressure gauge; adjustable pressure and flow control allow it to adapt to different flux types and welding speeds. On rotary-positioner welding lines such as large-diameter pipe/tank fabrication, it provides uninterrupted flux flow even over long feed distances.
